What are we trying to achieve with this?
Increase awareness about the dangers of Shark Finning.
Reduce the demand for Shark Fins through this awareness.
What is our message?
Shark Finning has increased over the past years due to the increasing demand of shark fins (i.e., for sharkfin soup, or common cultural cures).
Most breeds of Sharks are becoming extinct due to this problem.
The stability of the ecosystem is dependent on the survival of sharks.
Who am I trying to target (be specific)?
Asian decent.
Government officials who have the ability to make changes pertaining to current shark finning laws.
What is my audience or target demographic?
Wealthy people (primarily of asian decent) within a $100 000+ household income.
Asian cultural perceptions of shark fins are symbolic of wealth and prestige, hence fueling the increase of shark finning.

What message am I putting out?
100 million sharks are killed for the fins annually.
Shark Finning creates an unsustainable ecosystem because the rate of harvesting is higher then the reporoductive ability of the sharks.
What influences do I want to bring?
Changing cultural perceptions of Shark Fins by creating awareness.
Shark Fins is not a delicacy.
Some species are near extinction and we must curve the demand in order to solve this growing problem.
